Knowledge

One goal of klassewasser.de is to support the curriculum in schools. Many issues, in parts quite complex, have been processed in a vivid way. For example, the path water takes through a city: from the source through the treatment and sewerage into the households, and back to nature via sewage drains and treatment plants.

 

Entertainment

On the other hand, there is no missing out on entertainment and recreation value. In case you always wanted to know the equivalent of "I bathe until I'm shriveled up" in other languages, you can read and even listen to the according translations. Games and audio books for long rainy days, indoor experiments related to water and lots of recreational tips along the topic of water are also available.

For teachers and educators, a separate area has been set up which provides information on training as well as teaching material. This area also offers the opportunity to sign up for tours and excursions.

• The path that water takes through Berlin: In over 60 interactive scenes, the complete urban water cycle of water and sanitation is being demonstrated.
• The water cycle: Explanation of nature’s water cycle in a vivid animation.
• Water’s journey through the day: In seven everyday situations, the responsible use of water is practiced.
• Water languages: You can listen to "I bathe until I'm shriveled up,", "My rubber duck has stopped squeaking" and other phrases along the water topic in eight languages. Seven additional languages are currently being prepared.
